Our BIG Changes!

Hi everyone! You may have noticed... We've been busy! We're all new here: a new look, new products, new "offer" option for checkout. It's a lot, but let us explain what it all is.

  • New Look (Front & Back): If you've been here before, you probably noticed right away that we have an all new look. We used to struggle with color scheme and making sure products stood out on the page... Let's not even think about it. *shudder* We've turned it all around, and we're looking sleeker and sexier than ever. Along with our new front look, we had some technical, back-end work done and improved the customer experience. Pages should function a little bit smoother now and the search bar should be a little more flexible and understanding. There's also some new filters to help customers find the colors, sizes, and brands they love easier!

 

  • New Products + Overseas Collection: We couldn't just stop with a new look! We had to complete the ensemble with new products. That's why we worked hard to add thousands more products to our lineup with the latest trends and emerging brands. We also started expanding our Overseas Collection! We still only partner with one vendor for our products. That hasn't changed. Our store has always been focused on selling products from our vendor's U.S. warehouse, but we have decided that we want to give our customers more options. That's why we opened up the Overseas Collection! In this collection, you can find a more extensive selection of products that ship from all of our vendor's warehouses located around the world! We keep it in a separate collection here so that our customers who want to only buy from the U.S. warehouse still can without worry. We are so excited to share so many more gorgeous designs with you!

 

  • The Offer Button: Now for the part that you are all probably asking about... the Offer button.

"What is this?" "Is this a bid?" "How does this work?" "Why is it different?"

The short answer: it's a name your price button.

Yep. You read that right. This is a unique feature that we are trying out for a little while that sets us apart from your typical retailer. We do have set prices for our products, and these prices are genuinely what we believe to be best. They are fair prices for their quality, and they are lower than most of our competitors. We don't believe in marking things up just because we can. (Hence why we sell some things like shoes for as low as $15 even though most places would sell the same ones for 2-3x as much -- simply because they're shoes). However, we value our customers and their opinions. If you feel that a price is unfair or is just little out of your reach, the offer button exists for you to negotiate with us!

Here's How It Works:

  1. Click on the "Make an Offer" button, located on any product page underneath the "Add to Cart" button.
  2. In the popup window, fill out the requested information. In the "Offer" space, enter in the price you think is most suitable for the item. Please take it seriously.
  3. After you've sent in your offer, it's our turn! We will consider selling the item to you at your offered price and email you our decision. Most offer requests will be sent a decision within a few minutes, but some may take up to 48 hours.
  4. Your email will contain instructions on how to accept your offer price. Offers expire after 1 week, so please use it as soon as possible!

 

"Offer" FAQ

  • Is the quality of the product different if I used an offer price (i.e. used/worn, damaged packaging, etc)? - Nope! It's the same quality product as if you were to buy it at our originally set price. We do not make a distinction between customers who paid our set price vs those who paid an offer price.
  • What's the point? Why not just lower your set price? - We set our prices at what we believe to be the most fair price to our customers based on the cost of the product's manufacturing. In the process, we have found ourselves to actually be lower than most of our competitors. The Offer button exists to give our customers a voice on our prices and provide flexibility when they need it. We cannot reduce our prices too much or we will not be able to afford to operate, however, we do want to listen to our customers.
  • My offer expired! How can I get it back? - Offers expire after 1 week. Once an offer expires, it cannot be restored. However, you may submit a new offer request for the product. Please bear in mind that our decision might not be the same as it was previously. For this reason, we stress the importance of accepting any and all offers A.S.A.P.
  • Why was my offer denied? - The acceptance or denial of offer requests is determined at the store owner's discretion based upon the manufacturing cost of the product and basic operating costs. The decision is final, but you are welcome to submit a new request with a higher offer amount for us to consider.
  • Why do some decisions take longer than others? - The reason some offers are approved within minutes is due to automation. There is some automation set to immediately accept or deny offer requests that fall within certain thresholds. These thresholds are set by the store owner to accept offers we definitely can take and deny offers we definitely cannot take due to manufacturing and operating costs. Requests that fall in between these thresholds must wait for the store owner's consideration, thus, they take a bit longer. Regardless of whether it was automated or not, the decision is final, but you are always welcome to submit a new request with a higher offer amount for us to consider.
